The raiSE Fireside Chat & AMA circles with Social Entrepreneurs: The PurpoSE Agenda 2024 held at Conrad Orchard Hotel on 3rd December, was a spectacle of an eye opener as I got to witness panelists of raiSE CEO, Directors of MNCs, MNCs and Tictag, an AI startup that helps PWDs earn money, give oratories on how they employ their business strategies. I even got to see and congratulate Sruti, from @digi.upstudio , my fellow YAC alumni, receive grants onstage. I saw how Chong Ing Kai of @stickem.sg aced it onstage with his life advice and even in the AMA Circles.
Well done and kudos to all the awardees and speakers!
Made a few new LinkedIn connections.
I gave a riveting speech introducing my social enterprise, A11y Adventures. Followed by questions on how businesses who have first mover advantage overcome the threat of new entrants to the market who are doing something similar, and my second question was how Co-Founders can get over paralysis by analysis.
Sat down with Han-Peng Ho from SUSS, had an emotional chat about the micro-aggressions I face on a daily basis, he even asked for my inputs on how his SUSS Centre for Social Change can implement something for the neurodivergent, which I replied “intentionality” and “everyone has a need to be seen and heard” ,”cater to each and every person on the spectrum.”
Overall it was a great honour to attend the raiSE Fireside event and be surrounded by great minds and fellow entrepreneurs.
Looking forward to more AMA and networking events such as these!
Kudos to raiSE for pulling off a successful event bar none!
